The Ibis Bangkok Riverside has one restaurant, Taste, which serves a la carte western & Thai cuisine as well as daily breakfast, lunch & International buffet. There are two bars, the lobby bar & a poolside bar. Both bars serve cocktails, beers, soft drinks & international snacks. The lobby & pool bars are open from 08.00-23.00.
Ibis Bangkok Riverside Buffet @Taste
The Ibis Bangkok Riverside Buffet at Taste features a Thai & International buffet dinner on Monday-Wednesday featuring a selection of appetizers, cold meats, salads, soups, a carving station, seafood, and desserts. Thursday-Sunday night is a Seafood Buffet with all you can eat grilled prawn, squid, scallop, fish fillets, mussels, oysters & steamed crab. Also included is sushi & sashimi, as well as salads, fruit, and desserts. Soft drinks are included but not alcohol.
There is air-conditioned seating inside or al fresco on the riverside terrace. Friday?s entertainment is provided by a live musician. The nightly buffet runs from 18.30-22.00 and costs from 799 baht (International), 990 baht (Seafood) including tax and service. Hotel guests pay 599 baht. There is no time limit. There is also a good value breakfast buffet at 177 baht.

A few minute?s walk from the hotel is Sena Fest, a community mall with many small shops, cafes, restaurants, a Muay Thai gym, fitness center, a yoga studio, a supermarket, a post office, a barber, a beauty salon, doctor?s & dentists, banks, & ATM?s. Inside you will find International brands such as Starbucks, Boots, Daiso, Dominos, & KFC. A 24-hour 7-11 convenience store is 50 meters from the hotel. There are also several Thai restaurants & street food stalls in the vicinity.

Taxi ? The hotel can arrange a taxi for you or you can hail one on the street. Beware of taxis that hang around on the street near the hotel. These taxis do not use the meter, overcharge & will try to take you to fake gem shops & worse. Never ask a taxi driver for recommendations, they will only take you to places that pay them a commission.
Tuk-Tuk ? If you would like to use a tuk-tuk, walk up to Charoen Nakhon Road & hail a passing one. The same as for taxis, avoid ones that park & hang around near the hotel for the same reasons as taxis above.

Cross River Ferry Boat ? There is a cross-river ferry from Pepsi Pier (under the Taksin Bridge). The ferry goes to Sathorn Pier every 10 minutes. The fare is 5 baht. The ferry runs from 06.00-20.00 (19.00 on weekends).
Chao Phraya Express & Tourist Boats ? Both the Express (Orange Flag) & Tourist (Blue Flag) call at the Sathorn Pier, just across the river from the hotel.
